About

Frieze Los Angeles is a leading international art fair that was launched in 2019. Christine Messineo is the Director of Americas.

Frieze Los Angeles largely focuses on contemporary art and celebrates the exceptionally dynamic culture of Los Angeles and its global contributions to the visual arts.

Frieze Los Angeles 2026

The seventh edition of the fair returns to Santa Monica Airport from February 26 – March 1, 2026 and will feature approximately 100 galleries, an expansive program of ambitious installations, collaborations with nonprofit organizations, and pop-ups from some of Los Angeles' most beloved restaurants.

The Galleries section welcomes ambitious proposals from galleries representing international artists and showing a regular programme of exhibitions.

The Focus section will be curated by Essence Harden (co-curator Made in L.A 2025) for the third year.  Focus is dedicated to solo presentations by galleries with a space in the US, formed in or after 2014.

Gallery Selection Process

For Frieze Los Angeles 2026, galleries are invited to submit an application to participate in the fair. Applications close Tuesday, July 1 2025 and the selection will be made by a committee of gallerists who participate in the fair; the fair Director chairs the meeting but does not vote. Application results will be released in August 2025.
